വാവനൂർ അഷ്ടാംഗം ആയുർവ്വേദ ചികിത്സാലയത്തിൽ ഒരു പുതിയ ആയുർവ്വേദ യുവതലമുറയ്ക്ക് കൂടി വിദ്യാരംഭം കുറിച്ചു. അഷ്ടാംഗം ആയുർവ്വേദ വിദ്യാപീഠത്തിലെ 8 ബാച്ചിലേക്കുള്ള ബി.എ.എം. എസ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ ആണ് ആയുർവ്വേദത്തിൽ വിദ്യാരംഭം കുറിച്ചത്.അഷ്ടവൈദ്യൻ  പുലാമന്തോൾ ശങ്കരൻ മൂസ്സ്   ,വൈദ്യൻ ഗംഗാധരൻ നായർ എന്നിവർ ചടങ്ങുകൾക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകി . കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ അഷ്ടവൈദ്യൻ ആലത്തിയൂർ നാരായണൻ നമ്പി അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു  .ട്രസ്റ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി ഉണ്ണി മങ്ങാട്ട് മുഖ്യ  പ്രഭാഷണവും നടത്തി.
