A fund raising programme.
An amount was raised by the students union which was donated to a member of the extended family of Ashtamgam who was suffering from cancer. As a token of love to the contributors, pictures drawn by the students of Ashtamgam was given.

At the recent hair donation camp hosted by Ashtamgam, numerous students came forward to generously donate their hair, demonstrating profound solidarity and support for cancer survivors. This heartfelt initiative not only provides essential materials for wigs but also offers a symbol of hope and strength to those battling cancer.

In collaboration with the Department of Swasthavritta, the Change'21 student union organized an enriching online quiz program titled 'Rhythm of Dhee' and a Yoga dance competition known as 'Tharang'. These events were designed to blend intellectual engagement with physical artistry, showcasing the students' knowledge and creativity in a dynamic and interactive format.

"Ee Manohara Theeram" saw students of Ashtamgam engaging the community by delivering insightful classes on the local plants of various regions. This initiative highlighted the rich botanical diversity and traditional knowledge, enhancing environmental awareness and appreciation among participants.

A letter writing competition was organized for students as part of Earth Day activities, encouraging them to express their thoughts and solutions on environmental conservation. This competition aimed to foster a deeper connection with nature and inspire a commitment to sustainable practices among the youth.

In a compassionate response to the needs of COVID-affected families, the college union, in association with Pratheeksha Palliative Care, organized a fundraising program. The funds raised were used to distribute food kits to those in need. To honor the generosity of the contributors, the students of Ashtamgam dedicated a song to them, adding a personal touch of gratitude to this impactful initiative.
