A special department named Padma Shri Dr. PR Krishna Kumar Center for Traditional Knowledge Systems was established in the month of October 2020 under the Ashtangam Trust in her memory with the intention that a medical student should have a basic understanding of Ayurvedic subjects during his studies.
Astrology, architecture, Kalari, marma treatment, agriculture, music, and other scientific arts are imparted by distinguished persons who are experts in their respective sciences under this category. There is no doubt that this kind of knowledge can be added to medical students.
